Sedgefield Quality Homes is owned and run by Ron Godfrey, and has been since its inception in 1993.

Ron has a Higher National Diploma in Civil Engineering from Cape Technicon and has 4 years experience as a site engineer with LTA Building. He has approximately 27 years experience building, renovating and restoring homes in the Garden Route under the name and style of Sedgefield Quality Homes. To date, his company has completed over 100 houses in a wide range of designs and sizes.

Ron is an honest and hard-working person, and as such our portfolio contains the names and email addresses of some of our most recent clients, and these can all be used for references.

Sedgefield Quality Homes is registered with Workmen’s Compensation, UIF, the National Home Builders Registration Council, and we are VAT registered.

OUR MISSION

Building your new home is one of the most important projects that you will ever complete and, for a lot of people, one of the biggest investments you will ever make. It is therefore important that you choose a building company that understands this and has your best interests (from both a financial and quality perspective) at heart. We are that Company!

OUR STAFF

A large percentage of our staff (skilled and semi-skilled) has been with the Company for many years, and they are therefore used to working under strict building guidelines, with the aim of neatness and quality. They are all required to wear company issued uniforms with the company logo on, which assists in eliminating unauthorised access to your building site.

OUR EQUIPMENT

We also own a large percentage of our plant resources, like conveyors, scaffolding, power tools and such, so we know our equipment is looked after and available on hand to satisfy your projects needs.

GETTING STARTED

Should you be interested in our Company quoting for you, please do not hesitate to contact us. In providing you with a quote, we will make sure that our price is market related, realistic and highly competitive. Once a quote has been accepted, we can provide you with a cash flow forecast, so that you are able to properly plan the completion of your project, and also so that you know what funds to make available when.

We only take on a limited number of projects at any given time to ensure Ron can be hands-on with all of our projects, thereby ensuring that our work has been personalised to meet your specific needs. We are serious about our work, and should we be awarded the opportunity to build for you, we will assure you of our full commitment to erecting a well-supervised and finished product.
